Why go for Minimalism for Workout?

Often, people surround themselves with things that are not really important to them. At first, something may seem important, but later people realize that they are better off without it. Let's take an example of home furniture. Usually, people tend to acquire more furniture then they actually need. This is a very common practice. Even if someone has rooms filled with unnecessary items, they will still find an empty place and fit something in it. After sometime they realize, that it has extremely difficult to clean the room properly with so many things. Not only that, having all the area occupied with objects can limit your movement in that room. You will struggle finding something if it drops on the floor.

Now, why people do it in first place? The easy answer is to achieve fulfillment. Everyone wants to achieve that joy of acquiring everything that they want to have. Our generation is too much attached to things. We love buying things more often just so that we can satisfy our desires. However, this materialistic approach of life is not a be good idea for everyone. For instance, if you are a salaried employee in some company, and you acquire all the things you want for yourself, later it will be very difficult if you have to move to some other place. Those things that you have purchased will be nothing more than a burden. In most cases, you will sell them. Now, ask yourself, what was the benefit of purchasing that in the first place?

On the opposite hand, there is a minimal lifestyle, which may not be very fascinating, luxurious or fulfilling to all, but it is surely a way for better life. With minimal approach, you acquire only that is needed, nothing else. You will put only enough furniture in your house that you need, you will only purchase or rent flat that you need, you cut down all the unnecessary things from your life that just acquire space without solving any purpose. These can be anything from as big as your worries to as small as your smartphone apps.

This concept of minimalism can also be applied to fitness. If you think for a moment and ask yourself, do you really have to go to gym 6 days a week? Does it solve any purpose? Are you losing fat faster or are you gaining muscle faster? Is your life getting hectic because of it? Are you able to rest well? Do you wake up everyday feeling enthusiastic about gym or you are just waking up because you have to?

Most of you will answer they have to go this is what they want. Well, yes that's what you want, but wouldn't that be great if you can minimize your time at the gym by being more productive at your workouts? If your answer is yes, then you should definitely follow the minimal workout routine that will fit in your life and you will surely lose more fat and gain more muscle in less time.

Since I have started this minimal approach to my gym routine, I feel much better in balancing the life. I get proper rest and recover well from my workouts. I feel more energized for the next workout, and I never say myself to sleep a little longer and forget gym today. This effect is truly great. I cut out all the unnecessary things that were making it hard for me to sustain. Now, I stick to my workouts, never miss them.

I'll be sharing what workout routine I follow and how you can incorporate it in your life to get most of your gym sessions. Remember, often more is not more, less is sometimes more, but you need to know how to do it.

If you have any questions, just shoot them up.

Cheers!!!

Workout 3 Days a Week - Why it makes sense?

Infinite gym and workout sessions may not be a cup of tea for everyone. In fact, most of us are better off working out than going to gym all 7 days a week. Often people follow lifestyle of pro-bodybuilders and fitness models because it makes sense that to achieve that body you have to work super hard. However, it is not true, and does not apply to all. Most of people do not belong to fitness models or bodybuilder group. They are just normal human being who are professionally involved in some other activities. If you are among them, ask yourself why do you need to follow a 5 or 6 days workout routine that a pro bodybuilder does? It makes no sense to follow such routines if you are a regular guy with a regular job, or a guy who has such a tight schedule that he barely thinks about working out. What usually happens in this situation is that you ruin your life. It may seems good for first few weeks, but you will soon be overwhelmed by this routine. Now, you are taking days off from th

About Me

Hi fitness enthusiasts, My Name is Sunil Azad Seauta aka Vicky Seauta. I am a professional 3D artist and working in a IT company. Artist's job is not a very healthy one. In fact, most of the time we are just sitting in front of a computer screen. Although I love my work very much, but being fit is my main motive now. I am working out at home and gym for last 4 years, and seen lots of ups and downs with my fitness journey till now. I have struggled a lot to find balance with being fit and doing other things. The problem that I faced (and so does many people out there face) was to fit into gym lifestyle that mainstream fitness industry tells us to do. It took me 3 years to realize that I cannot be like them. I am not a fitness pro, neither is this my job, nor am I going to be a fitness pro and participate in a competition. So, why should I make my life miserable by copying what fitness pros are doing? This is the mistake that everyone makes. We try to follow someone who is al

Exercise Selection: Big Compound movements or Isolation Work

When it comes to train a body part, you have several options. But, there are basically two ways of thinking this. You can either do variety of exercises for a single body part or you can do just one big exercise for that body part. Now, here's the problem, which is better, and what should you do? This is a common question that every lifter asks himself/herself and to other people as well. Some would say do this exercise or do that exercise for gaining that muscle, some says do one big compound movement to get all the muscles trained in one go. Now, everyone who you encounter and ask this question will have different opinions. Powerlifters, will prefer to use mostly compound lifting approach and they will tell you the same, but a bodybuilder will tell you to use isolation exercises to target a specific muscle. Powerlifters will argue that compound lifts are great for functional training as well as gaining muscle mass, and you should be doing the main exercises like Squats, Ben
